中国剧协于六月十一日在北京召开主席团扩大会议,会议由中国剧协主席曹禺主持。出席会议的有副主席马彦祥、李伯钊、陈白尘、张庚、张君秋、阿甲、赵寻、袁雪芬、常香玉等。会上,他们结合文艺、戏剧战线上的情况,畅谈了学习赵总理为六届人大所作的政府工作报告的体会。大家对赵总理在报告中充分肯定文艺工作的成绩,受到鼓舞;同时认为报告中提出当前文化建设中出现的问题,完全符合文艺、戏剧界的实际情况。赵寻等同志认为,赵总理提出“应当不断提高精神产品的质量”的要求,是当前戏剧战线上的重要问题。张庚同志说,目前戏剧界应着眼于设法改变创作和演出的思想、艺术水平低下的问题,只有提高作品的质量,戏剧工作才能适应四化建设的发展。赵总理在报告中提出文艺等部门要坚持以共产主义思想教育人 The Chinese Theater Association held an enlarged meeting of the presidium in Beijing on June 11, chaired by Cao Yu, chairman of the Chinese Theater Association.
