经过大量理论计算与实验室试验,北京科技大学研究人员成功将CO2-O2混合喷吹(COMI)工艺应用到不锈钢的冶炼中。试验结果表明,COMI工艺不影响不锈钢的正常冶炼,且可促进熔池脱碳保铬,减少镍损,利于不锈钢质量的提高。此外,该工艺利用部分CO2代替O2和Ar,吨钢节约成本20~45元,循环利用CO2,利于低碳经济的发展。
After a large number of theoretical calculations and laboratory tests, researchers at Beijing University of Science and Technology have successfully applied the CO2-O2 mixed injection (COMI) process to the smelting of stainless steel. The test results show that the COMI process does not affect the normal smelting of stainless steel and can promote the decarburization and chromate removal of the molten pool and reduce the nickel loss, which is beneficial to the improvement of the quality of the stainless steel. In addition, the process uses part of CO2 instead of O2 and Ar, saving 20-45 yuan per ton of steel, recycling CO2, which will benefit the development of low-carbon economy.
