The stress response to anesthesia and major surgery and the significant reduction in postoperative urinary output and electrolyte excretion, especially Na ~ +, have long been known. Some people think that anesthesia itself is also similar to the surgical stimulation, can promote the release of antidiuretic hormone (ADH). In 1951, Duke and other animal experiments proved that if the dog hypothalamus morphine, which secreted ADH and significantly inhibit urination. In recent years, advances in radioimmunoassay technology have provided the conditions for observing the issue of anesthesia and ADH release. This aspect of animal experiments has accumulated a lot of information, but due to the different animal species, the results obtained are quite different. The author reviewed anesthesia-related materials, a comprehensive introduction is as follows.
