通过对伊犁盆地伊宁凹陷宁3、宁4井烃源岩抽提物的分析,总结出侏罗系烃源岩饱和烃特征为低的轻重比,高的姥鲛烷与植烷比值,规则甾烷中C29含量高,C27、C28含量低;二叠系、三叠系烃源岩饱和烃特征为高的轻重比,低的姥鲛烷与植烷比值,规则甾烷中C29含量较低,C27、C28含量较高。由此进一步推测出侏罗系烃源岩沉积时沉积水体较浅,陆生高等植物输入为主,而且是在较氧化条件下沉积的;而二叠系、三叠系烃源岩沉积时沉积水体较深,低等水生生物具有重要贡献,沉积环境较侏罗系偏于还原。
