型腔精加工在模具制造工程中占有重要地位。为了实现高速和微细化,特以代表性切削工具——球头立铣刀进行切削机理的分析和试验。其结果如下: (1)选择了加工余量和进给量后,控制实际切入深度就可以高速加工型腔。 (2)进给量和每一刃进刀量相等,就可得到最大加工效率和最佳加工面粗糙度。 (3)用球头立铣刀的中心进行切削,会产生负的实际切削速度及切刃后面和切削面干涉等弊病。但这可以由改变切刃形状来解决。 (4)用金属陶瓷刀具进行型腔精加工的效果极佳。
