In regional geography, the concept of “haartland” is borrowed from the concept of “the heartlard” or “Pivotal area” of political geography. The concept of mind in regional geography, in addition to political implications, has also been given economic, cultural and other aspects. This geographical concept, in Canada, refers to the Great Lakes and the middle lowland along the St. Lawrence River, the heart of Canada - the center of the trunk and the most vital organs. In the heart, there is a combination of regions and functions. This small area is Canada’s population and industrial center.
