The most common load case in a facility is a combination of cyclic bending and cyclic or constant torsion. At this time, a common method of determining fatigue life can not be used, nor does the textbook address how to solve the problem. The approach described in this paper fills this gap by combining classical theories that predict fatigue life under any combination of stresses.
