象似性,或曰理据性,作为符号学和认知语言学的一个重要理论,近年来灵活运用于各类语言艺术之中,吸引了国内外众多专家学者的目光。尤其是在诗歌译界,象似性的引用不仅有助于升华语言叙述的自然性,同时也使文字表达的真实感得以凸显。本文依据认知语言学的象似性理论,以澳大利亚当代诗人格兰·菲利普斯的三首诗歌译作为例,从语音、形状、顺序等典型象似性原则的角度出发,旨在阐明象似性理论指导诗歌翻译的可行性和实用性。
Iconicity, or rationality, as an important theory of semiotics and cognitive linguistics, has been applied flexibly to various kinds of language art in recent years, attracting the attention of many experts and scholars at home and abroad. Especially in poetry transliteration, iconic citation not only helps to sublimate the naturalness of language narration, but also highlights the realism of verbal expression. Based on the Iconicity Theory of Cognitive Linguistics and the translation of three poems by Australian contemporary poet Glan Phillips, this paper aims to clarify the phenomenon of iconicity from phonetics, shape and order. The feasibility and practicability of sexual theory in guiding poetry translation.
