As the saying goes, when men are married, women should be married. However, regardless of traditional culture, the number of single people is now on the increase. According to the “People’s Daily · Overseas Version” report, China has not yet chosen a good partner or divorced. The number of widowed singletons is about 40 million, of which about 34% of the total number of single women are women. In terms of geographical distribution, there are more women single women in the cities than in rural areas; from a cultural point of view, single women account for 70% of students with high school education or above. According to a survey released by a survey company at 0:00 June 1996, about one-quarter of unmarried young people in urban China tend to join the ranks of cinemas. Among them, women with single thoughts than men, women were 36.82% (21.4% for men). It can be seen from this that the phenomenon of today’s women choosing celibates has become more and more common. Starting from this phenomenon, this thesis attempts to make some new understandings about the liberation of Chinese women.
