果蔗在我国广东、福建多有种植。皮呈紫黑色,茎组织疏松、水分多、含糖量高、适口性好,俗称“黑皮蔗”、“水果蔗”。果蔗品种多为“巴拉拉”,一般每667米~2(1亩)产7吨左右,高的可达10吨以上。每667米~2产值4200~5600元(按批发价计算)可获纯利3000~5000元。果蔗生长期短,多采用地膜覆盖冬植栽培,既可提早下种,延长生长期,提高单茎重,又可避免春植蔗种集中窖藏的麻烦。一般以掌握在霜冻来临之前、气温稳定在萌芽温度(13~15℃)以下时下种为宜。冬季要经常检查,发现破膜或边膜通风等要及时处理,防止蔗种受冻、失水。其大田管理技术如下:
