Based on the collection of predecessors’ inscriptions on the iron incense burner of Daan Temple in Nanchang, this paper proposes that the incense burner is Xu Zhulian, who was appointed as the governor of Zhennan Army during the Yang and Wu Dynasties in the Five Dynasties and the Ten Kingdoms. Out of his prayers and sacrifices for political life Father Xu temperature needs and casting. This paper argues that Xu Zhijian firstly chose Da’an Temple which has a temple-building legend and is quite spiritual and has a special meaning as a supporting site. According to the performance of the incense burner and the communication between Buddha and Luzhou, “” Lu “the homophonic coincidence, the choice of censer as a support; but also out of Yang Wu regime still black reverence, and by the” five virtues of the end "concept, finally determined to Iron as a material. In order not to be discovered by the political opponents, Xu Zhixing also took advantage of the Buddhist beliefs of the lower classes and concealed his political demands through the addition of money-making methods.
