Mill software is a computer simulation software; it predicts mill performance for large industrial applications. This software outperforms all other cylinder mill analysis technologies used today. Because it is based on the basic laws of physics, not the empirical relationship. The graphical user interface forms simplify the entry of design and operating parameters such as mill diameter, mill length, mill speed, load density, particle size distribution, lifter material and geometry as described below. All of these parameters are taken into discrete element digital technology. Discrete element digital technology is the essence of simulation software. Simultaneously, the simulation software produces a visual animation of the grinding load movement; predicts the mill power; and gives the distribution of the collision energy. An example of a semi-autogenous mill with a diameter of 85 m is cited in this article to illustrate the application of this mill software.
