With the objectives of supporting S&T development of developing nations, promoting cooperation and exchanges among their S&T workers, improving their capacity in S&Tinnovation and training their S&T talent, the CAS-TWAS Fellowships Program was launched in 2004. So far, CAS institutes have hosted some 280 scientists from developing countries,including 96 PhD students, 71 postdocs and 115 visiting scholars. These scientists have come from more than 30 developing countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Nigeria, Pakistan
