在旅居澳门期间,高剑父绘画改革思想开始出现重大转折,由早年受革命生活浸润而产生的偏重西画、不甚明确的折衷思想,转变为主张创造立足传统、融合东西的现代国画的新理念。而这一转变的标志是他在这一时期对居巢、居廉的艺术技法作了体系化的整理和研究,以强调中国画的独立品格和价值。高剑父对其师的艺术总结坚持重法务实的作风,不仅为后人学习效法提供了宝贵的资料,还是中国书画理论研究方法的一大变革。
During his stay in Macao, Gao Jian-fu’s painting reform began to undergo a major turning point. He shifted from a trade-oriented and ambiguous eclecticism that had been infiltrated by his early revolutionary life into a new idea of creating modern Chinese painting based on tradition and blending things . The sign of this transformation is that he systematically sorted out and studied the art of living and living in this period to emphasize the independent character and value of Chinese painting. Gao Jianfu’s artistic summary of his master insists on the method of heavy law and pragmatism, not only provides valuable information for his follow-up study, but also a great change in the research methods of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
