以往许多作者设想,并认为颅内肿瘤病人病变周围脑水肿产生EEG(脑电图)异常.现在,CT不仅可直接显示颅内肿瘤而且也能显示和估计反应性脑水肿的范围大小和部位.因此,CT有利于确定EEG的改变和脑水肿的关系.本文的目的是:评价CT显示脑水肿的严重程度和范围与EEG异常的比例关系,和确定脑水肿的EEG改变.本文分析127例幕上肿瘤在同一时期的EEG和CT的检查结果.所选病例中84例肿瘤伴有反应性水肿(66%),43例肿瘤无水肿(34%).CT研究:观察低密度区域.并发现恶性肿瘤常常伴有反应性脑水肿、相反、良性肿瘤常无脑水肿.但脑膜瘤有时伴有显著水肿.
Many previous authors envisaged that EEG (Electroencephalogram) abnormalities in brain edema around lesions of patients with intracranial tumors are considered and CT is now not only directly revealing intracranial tumors but also displaying and estimating the extent and location of reactive brain edema. Therefore, CT is helpful to determine the relationship between EEG changes and cerebral edema.The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the relationship between the severity and extent of cerebral edema by CT and the EEG abnormalities, and to determine the EEG changes of cerebral edema.In this paper, The results of EEG and CT examinations of the tumors in the same period included 84 cases with reactive edema (66%) and 43 cases with edema (34%). CT study: Malignant tumors are often accompanied by reactive brain edema, on the contrary, benign tumors often without cerebral edema, but meningiomas sometimes accompanied by significant edema.
