有的教师由于缺乏教育学、心理学理论的修养,常常把“罚”当作法宝:除了“传统”的体罚之外,又增加了新的手段——罚款。这些教师之所以抓住这个“法宝”不放,是认为它“有效”:一“罚”,学生就规规矩矩了!殊不知,它既伤害了学生的身心,又造成了师生对立。换句话说,它所带来的都是教育的不利因素。因为惩罚不能使人改过,只能使人隐匿过失。体罚学生,实际上是教师无能的一种表现。
Some teachers, because of their lack of pedagogy and psychological theory, often regard “penalty” as a magic weapon: In addition to “traditional” corporal punishment, they have also added new means—fines. The reason why these teachers hold onto this “magic weapon” is to believe that it is “effective”: a “penalty”, students will behave properly! As everyone knows, it hurts the physical and mental, but also caused the teacher and student confrontation. In other words, what it brings is the disadvantage of education. Because punishment cannot make people pass, only people can hide mistakes. Physical punishment of students is actually a manifestation of teacher incompetence.
