4月18日8时28分,山东铁路史上一个值得铭记的时刻,一辆时速超过200公里的动车组列车从济南驶往青岛,列车行驶384公里仅用了2小时33分,比过去最快列车缩短了54分钟。当日,济南铁路局管内始发的11对动车组列车正式载客运营,分别是济南-四方5对、济南-北京3对、四方-北京3对。这标志着建成通车103年的胶济铁路已经达到世界铁路既有线提速最高水平,开始进入“高速时代”。
