任何一种理念或者理论的形成,都有不同时代的痕迹,随着时间点的推移,理论的发展也在不断发生新的阐释。中国古代历史理论的发展经历的不同的发展阶段,在不同的阶段有不同的表现形式和特点,本文从中国古代历史理论的发展历程入手,解析理论存在的特点和时代背景,从而进一步的推演古代历史理论的共性特征。文末阐述了研究中国古代历史理论的重大史学意义。
