没骨画是中国画传统花鸟画的画法之一。而没骨技法在中国画中的延伸和扩展,丰富了中国画的艺术表现范畴。没骨法历经中国艺术几千年的发展之路,曾经出现了宋人梁楷的《仙人泼墨图》、明人徐渭的芭蕉图、清代任伯年的花鸟画等艺术经典。但从没骨画发展的现实来看,因为种种现实及历史原因,其日渐式微却是不争的事实。在这样的艺术背景下,我们欣喜于仍然能够看到以曹小钦为代表的一批画家,以自己的艺术梦想和生动实践,坚守和高扬着中国画的传统旗帜,寻求着没骨画的发展新路,并形成了新时期中国没骨画的艺术高峰。
