面对危机,浦东频频出招,将转型落到实处。1992年,宏基集团创办人施振荣提出了有名的“微笑曲线”(Smiling Curve)理论,并作为宏基的策略方向。在“微笑曲线”中,左边是研发,右边是营销,当中是制造,利润最低。经济学家吴敬琏认为中国的企业多处于微笑曲线的底部,也就是制造业。研发与营销的附加价值高,为跨国公司所有。

The added value of R & D and marketing is high and owned by multinational corporations.
