自从十八世纪初期首次提出试验机以来,它已日益得到完善并发展成为万能的机器。试验机技术的两个新进展对岩石断裂的实验室研究是特别重要的:这就是刚性机架试验机的发展以及反馈控制系统的使用。
Since the first testing machine was introduced in the early 18th century, it has been increasingly refined and developed into a versatile machine. Two new developments in testing machine technology are particularly important for laboratory research on rock fracture: the development of rigid rack testing machines and the use of feedback control systems.
