音乐欣赏是指以具体音乐作品为对象,通过聆听的方式及其他辅助手段,如阅读分析乐谱和介绍有关背景材料等来领悟音乐的真谛,从而得到精神愉悦的一种审美活动。它是人们了解音乐作品、熟悉音乐风格的主要途径,也是审美教育的重要环节。随着普通高校艺术素质教育的深入开展,大多数高校都开设了《音乐欣赏》选修课,它在社会音乐普及、发挥美育功能、提高大学生文化艺术素质等方面,起到了相当大的作用。在很多高校,《音乐欣赏》课已经成为最受学生欢迎的全校选修课之一。
Music appreciation refers to the specific musical works as an object, through listening and other aids, such as reading and analyzing music and introduction of the background material to comprehend the true meaning of music, so as to obtain a spiritual pleasure of an aesthetic activity. It is the main way for people to understand music works and become familiar with the style of music. It is also an important part of aesthetic education. With the deepening of art quality education in colleges and universities, most colleges and universities have set up elective courses of “music appreciation”. They play a considerable role in the popularization of social music, the function of aesthetic education, and the improvement of college students’ cultural and artistic qualities. In many colleges, the “Music Appreciation” class has become one of the most popular elective courses in the school.
