Objective To explore the necessity and feasibility of using hyperbaric oxygen chamber to check the function of ear pressure in the physical examination. Methods A total of 65 students who passed the air examination were admitted to SKYC-2200 hyperbaric chamber to observe the ear pressure. The compression rate was 10 kPa / min. The subjects swallowed and moved soft palate in time. After the voltage is raised to 40kPa, the companion doctor checks the eardrum of the subject and records the subjective feeling and mental state. Then the rate of 10kPa / min decompression, to atmospheric pressure out of the cabin. Results After three examinations, 14 ears above the ¢ ö (¢ ô) ear pressure function were compared with 16 ears under the ¢ ö ear pressure function. The results of the two tests were identical. High-pressure cabin examination of 97 passengers, subjects in the absence of O2 and CO2 poisoning performance, no symptoms of decompression sickness. When the number of passengers in the cabin is 25, the O2 concentration in the cabin during the inspection is always> 20% and the CO2 concentration is <1%. However, during continuous inspection, pay attention to ventilation. Ear pressure function of more than two degrees, no tympanic membrane rupture, most of the symptoms of ear pain, hearing loss disappear within 2h, three days after the review of tympanic membrane were normal, no permanent hearing loss, indicating that middle ear injury is tolerable and reversible of. No dizziness and other inner ear damage performance. A maximum number of subjects up to 23 people, half a day (4h) 6 groups of 138 people can be checked. Conclusion This study shows that the high-pressure capsule method for detecting the pressure of the ear is accurate, safe and reliable, and can be used in large quantities for examination.
