陈垣先生是一代史学大师,著作等身,享誉中外。他虽然出身药材商人家庭,但自幼受到中国传统文化的影响,在书法、诗词等方面均有精深造诣。长期以来,相关史料极为少见。近年来,有关陈垣与书法艺术的资料逐渐被整理出版。二○○六年,《陈垣先生遗墨》出版,读者可以直接欣赏这位史学大家的书法作品。二○一○年,《陈垣来往书信集》出版增订本,较初版内容有了大规模增补,其中陈垣与三子、书法家陈约的书信二百一十七通,涉及大量父亲指导儿子如何写字、父子两人探讨书法的资料,对深入了解陈垣的书法观和书法教学具有重要作用~([1])。本文以《陈垣来往书信集》(增订本)为中心,探讨陈垣的书法观念与书法教育方法,展现史学大师的另一侧面。
Mr. Chen Yuan is a generation of masters of history, works such as body, renowned at home and abroad. Although he was a family of medicinal herbs and merchants, he was influenced by Chinese traditional culture since childhood and has profound accomplishments in calligraphy and poetry. For a long time, the relevant historical data is extremely rare. In recent years, the information about Chen Yuan and calligraphy art has been gradually compiled and published. In 2006, “Mr. Chen Yuan ink legacy” published, readers can directly appreciate the history of calligraphy works of everyone. In 2010, an updated version of “Chen Yuan’s Correspondence Collection” was published, with a large-scale addition to the first edition. Among them, Chen Yuan and the third son, the calligrapher, Chen Yue, wrote a series of 217 letters involving a large number of fathers How to write a son, father and son to explore the calligraphic information, to understand Chen Yuan’s calligraphy concept and calligraphy teaching has an important role ~ ([1]). In this paper, “Chen Yuan correspondence” (updated version) as the center, discusses Chen Yuan’s calligraphy concepts and calligraphy education methods, to show the other side of the masters of history.
