Today, modern electrolytic copper smelters increasingly use high current densities. As the current density increases, the current density used by many electrolytic refineries is approaching the limit current density. Average operating current density close to the limit current density, it is necessary to maintain a balanced current density. This article explores the importance of maintaining an equilibrium current distribution and discusses the factors, processes, and practices for achieving and sustaining high-quality production at higher operating strengths.
