1966年前后本队棉花产量均在150斤左右,但近四年来却徘徊在80~90斤之间,从产量因素分析,主要表现在单铃重的减轻。据测定,近几年平均单铃重只有3克左右,比过去约降低了30%。究其原因,除不良气候影响外,1.棉田间套作的复种指数的提高,造成逐年浅耕影响棉根发育;2.排水不良,多雨造成积水,引起上层土壤含盐量上升,影响棉根发育,导致棉株早衰;3.有机肥少,偏施氮肥使棉花生长不稳,后期倒伏;4.棉田土壤中含钾量下降。试验证明,土壤缺钾对棉根的发育、棉株的抗病、抗倒以及后期早衰均产生明显的不良影响。棉铃发育的好坏与棉根发育的好坏关系最密切,各种影响棉根发育的外因条件都在不
