我侨居印尼时,生活在那儿的华侨没有喝腊八粥的习俗,回国后定居天津,也就随乡入俗,每到农历腊月初八,全家人也喝起腊八粥,而且晓得腊八粥的来历。 农历十二月,古时是祭神祭祖的节日,祭祀的时间不统一,起源较早,夏朝称冬季的祭杞为“嘉平”,商朝称“清祀”,周朝称“大蜡”,奏汉时称“腊”。“腊”和“猎”通用,汉应劭《风俗通义》中说:“腊者措也,因猎取兽祭先祖也。”后来古人把十二月称为腊月。所以在十二月间腌制的食物分别叫“腊肉”、“腊鸡”、“腊鸭”、“腊肠”等等,统称为“腊味”。
