Ｉｉ 链作为ＭＨＣⅡ类分子的伴随蛋白，在外源性抗原肽递呈和Ｔ、Ｂ细胞的发育与成熟过程中起了重要的作用。Ｉｉ 链的缺陷可能导致自身免疫病的发生。
As a chaperone of MHC class II molecules, Ii chain plays an important role in the presentation of exogenous antigen peptides and in the development and maturation of T and B cells. Defects in the Ii chain may lead to the development of autoimmune diseases.
