美国科学院1979年的年度报告在序言中有这样一段话:“美国一直认为,如果没有科学上的进展,技术也就不能进步,因此美国拼命在科学上花费力量。然而,有的国家在科学上并没有花费多大力量,却利用技术赚了大钱,这个国家就是日本。”这段话道破了科学和技术的区别、技术与经济的密切关系,以及日本发展产业技术,获取经济效益的非凡能力。
In the 1979 annual report of the American Academy of Sciences, there is a passage in the Preamble: “The United States has always believed that if the scientific progress can not be made and the technology can not be improved, the United States desperately spends on science. However, some countries scientifically Japan did not make much effort but used technology to make huge profits. ”This passage broke the distinction between science and technology, the close relationship between technology and economy, and Japan’s extraordinary ability to develop industrial technologies and obtain economic benefits.
