Th1 / Th2 balance maintains immune system function and affects the balance between cytokines, which is closely related to the occurrence, development and prognosis of many diseases. Long-term use of morphine is a common analgesic. Long-term use can lead to imbalance of Th1 / Th2 cells, resulting in a shift of Th1 / Th2 balance toward Th2 cells through the direct action of opioid receptors or indirect effects of the central nervous system. The mechanism of morphine-induced Th2 cell apoptosis is associated with a variety of cytokines such as interleukin 2 (IL-2), IL-4, IL-10 and IFN-γ and GATA3, Transduction and transcriptional activator 6 (STAT6), T-bet, STAT4 and other transcriptional gene expression changes, at the same time with the Fas / Fas ligand and adenylate cyclase pathway is closely related. This article reviews the mechanism of morphine-induced Th2 cell migration.
