In order for librarians to successfully establish an academic model, a suitable environment must be created that recognizes the interplay of the three areas (teaching, research, service). Under such circumstances, there is a need for clear guidelines on how to conduct academic activities or how to provide them with opportunities and help for academic activities, and to have a plan that contributes to the formation of an academic model. This essay discusses the importance of forming an academic model of university library work from an overall point of view and suggests building a system in this model to provide support and evaluate contributions.
