在我国加入世贸组织、全球经济一体化、改革开放不断深入的宏观背景下,我国亟须培养大量“精通英语、明晰法律”的复合型人才,法律英语作为一门独立学科的发展势在必行。本文结合法律英语教学研究的历史和现状,从法律专业和英语专业双双面临困境的现实依据和强调语言与学科知识融合的“内容与语言整合性学习”(CLIL)的理论依据两个方面提出法律英语学科规划的理据,并进而从学科定位与发展、人才培养目标与培养方案和教学要求等方面详细论证了法律英语学科建设的内涵。
Under the macroscopical background of China’s accession to the WTO, the global economic integration and the continuous deepening reform and opening up, it is urgent for our country to cultivate a large number of compound talents with “proficiency in English and clear law”. The development of legal English as an independent discipline is in the ascendant Will do. Based on the history and current situation of law English teaching and research, this paper analyzes the current situation of legal education and English majors from the perspectives of both the legal basis and the English majors, and emphasizes the integration of language and subject knowledge into the theoretical basis of “content and language integrated learning” (CLIL) The author puts forward the rationale for the planning of law English and further expounds the connotation of legal English discipline construction from the aspects of subject positioning and development, personnel training objectives and training programs and teaching requirements.
