《国家基础教育课程改革指导纲要》的颁布和实施,标志着新一轮课程改革。在新环境下音乐教师的角色必须重新定位,转变角色,改变教学方法,成为学生学习的参与者、引导者和合作者,成为新课程的建设者、开发者和研究者。因此,音乐教师要有全新认识,努力提高自身综合素质,对职业角色与教育行为不断反思和完善,把“以人为本”的现代教育观念做为指导思想,关注“人”的发展,关注学生健康个性与健全人格的培养塑造,转变角色,提升技能。
