The authors have studied constant current non-aqueous potentiometric titration of organic acids [Anal. Chem. 30, 1286 (1958)]. This article reports the application of this technique in the titration of organic bases. The empirical results show that: 1. titration in acetic acid, peak titration curve can not be obtained, and the results no reproducibility. Peak-type titration curves can not be obtained with neutral solvents such as acetone, acetonitrile or chloroform. Since a non-carboxyl acidic solvent must be used, m-cresol is selected. 2.
