利用Landsat TM、ETM+影像,通过遥感图像处理技术和人工解译对北天山东西段冰川进行研究,得到1989年,1998年和2011年冰川边界图,定量分析了该区东西段冰川面积的变化情况。结果表明:东西段冰川均呈萎缩的趋势,东段冰川面积退缩了17.13%,西段冰川面积退缩了12.76%。东段冰川在西北坡分布最多,而西段冰川在北坡分布最多,东段冰川面积在各个坡向退缩均比西段快。研究表明,东西段冰川退缩差异的原因是西段固态降水较东段多,固态降水的增加抵消了夏季温度上升导致的冰川消融。此外,冰川规模和坡向也是影响东西段冰川退缩差异的重要因素。
Landsat TM and ETM images were used to study glaciers in the eastern and western parts of the North Tianshan Mountains by remote sensing image processing techniques and artificial interpretations. Glacier boundary maps of 1989, 1998 and 2011 were obtained, and the glacial area changes in the eastern and western regions were quantitatively analyzed . The results show that the glaciers in both eastern and western regions are shrinking. The glacier area in the eastern part shrinks by 17.13% and the glacier in the western part shrinks by 12.76%. Glaciers in the eastern part of the distribution of the most northwestern slopes, while the western part of the glacier in the northern slope distribution of the most glaciers in the eastern part of the retreat in each aspect are faster than the western section. The study shows that the reason for the difference between the retreat of glaciers in the eastern and western regions is that there is more solid precipitation in the western segment than that in the eastern segment. The increase of solid state precipitation counteracts glacial melting caused by the increase of summer temperature. In addition, the size and aspect of the glacier are also important factors that affect the glacial retreat difference between eastern and western glaciers.
