About a hundred and seventy-five years ago, September 4, 1939, World War II had just risen. British composer M. Tippett (1905-1998) sat in front of his large piano for a long time. The oversized piano made him clumsy about everything else in the cottage in Oxley, Surrey. He is going to write a large-scale work on the piano, written for solo vocals, choir and orchestra.
