Guangdong is located in the southern gate of the motherland. After the Opium War of 1840, the capitalist forces launched a massive invasion and the land became the earliest area in the West where the Western powers established the colonial and semi-colonial rule. Since then, the people of Guangdong have been subjected to the dual oppression and exploitation by feudal and foreign invaders of their own country. In addition, the vast majority of working women have to be restrained and devastated by feudal ethics and education and live at the lowest social level. Where there is oppression, there is resistance and struggle. In the modern history of China, this land has become the main battlefield for the Chinese people in opposing the foreign invaders and their own class in the reactionary reincarnation. Many outstanding thinkers and revolutionaries have been carrying out revolutionary activities here. Therefore, the women in Guangdong are more influenced by the progressive thinking and the revolutionary struggles than women in the Mainland. For their revolutionary cause and the liberation of women, they resolutely broke the feudal prison and broke the shackles of the old ethical code of ethics and took to the society and into the struggle.
