太和门始建于明永乐年间,位于紫禁城中轴线上,是午门后的第一座宫门。太和门前有面积约为26000平方米的广场,太和门及其广场从紫禁城建成至今一直处于十分重要的地位,具有极高的历史价值。2012年,北京遭遇罕见暴雨,而紫禁城内却没有积水现象,人们为古人所建的排水系统在几百年之后依旧如此畅通而感到震惊。本文从现代排水理论角度,论述太和门广场排水系统的构成、特点及其价值。
Taihemen was built in the Ming Yongle years, located in the axis of the Forbidden City, is the first gate after the Meridian Gate. In front of Taihe Gate, there is a square with an area of about 26000 square meters. Taihuimen and its plaza have been in a very important position since the establishment of the Forbidden City and have a very high historical value. In 2012, there was a rare heavy rain in Beijing, while there was no water in the Forbidden City. The drainage systems that people built for the ancients were still shocked after hundreds of years. From the perspective of modern drainage theory, this paper discusses the composition, characteristics and value of drainage system in Taihemen Square.
