“Language is the most important communication tool. It is an important part of human culture. The unity of instrumentality and humanity is the basic characteristic of the Chinese language curriculum.” This is the definition of the nature of Chinese language disciplines in the new “Language Curriculum Standards.” However, in actual teaching, due to the scheduling of exam-oriented education batons, Chinese language teaching has gradually lost its vivid cultural features and become a tool for examination. The loss of language humanities in secondary vocational schools is particularly prominent. Vocational education is not originally an exam-oriented education. However, because there is no unified and clear standard, basic disciplines, including Chinese, are not consciously used to the path of examination-oriented education. On the other hand, due to the particularity of the training objectives of vocational education, all basic disciplines have become helpless for professional courses, and Chinese is no exception.
