并发控制是CSCW系统的关键技术之一,旨在解决由于多用户同时操作可能产生的冲突,它与传统分布式系统的并发控制存在很大的差别。该文首先讨论了CSCW系统的并发控制机制的特点和功能需求,接着简要介绍了CSCW系统中各种并发控制方法,评述了其优缺点,着重研究了各种并发控制方法对用户接口的影响。最后,从设计实际CSCW系统的角度出发,讨论了选择和设计合适的并发控制算法应重点考虑的要素。
Concurrency control is one of the key technologies of CSCW system. It is designed to solve the conflict that may arise from the simultaneous operation of multiple users. It is very different from the traditional distributed system concurrency control. This paper first discusses the features and functional requirements of the concurrency control mechanism of CSCW system. Then, it briefly introduces various concurrency control methods in CSCW system, reviews its advantages and disadvantages, and focuses on the impact of various concurrency control methods on the user interface. Finally, from the perspective of designing an actual CSCW system, the key elements that should be considered in the selection and design of an appropriate concurrency control algorithm are discussed.
