儿童的年龄虽小,可他们的生活象大海一样广阔,多姿多彩,富于变化,儿童诗歌也该如此。儿童天真无邪,自然活泼,儿童诗歌也自应这样。儿童的生活充满着笑,这笑是真诚的笑、善意的笑、美好的笑、健康的笑,儿童诗歌绝不能容得虚假的笑、恶意的笑、丑恶的笑、病态的笑。儿童情趣是真的、善的、美的,儿童诗歌绝不能是假的、恶的、丑的。年幼的儿童,要教育,要引导,儿童诗歌应给孩子以体、智、德、美全面发展的教育和引导。要给孩子以丰富的知识,而绝非单一的品德教育。总之,儿童诗歌是属于孩子的,应是孩子们所能接受的。
