1 Teaching Objectives 1. Master the method of measuring the resistance of an unknown resistor using the Youan method. 2. Initially learn to determine the total resistance of two known resistances in series and in parallel. 3. Through this experiment, we are further familiar with the connection of series circuits and parallel circuits; we are familiar with the rules of use of ammeters and voltmeters, and learn to use the sliding rheostats. 4.
