THz波段和脉冲光源的认识是在激光技术发展的中后期被人们所逐渐了解的,太赫兹波地频宽较高,而且目前在公开的应用领域还没有进行广泛的频带分配,太赫兹波本身具备着高效的传输速率和极低的散射性,而且安全度相对较高,可以说是一种具有巨大应用前景的通信技术。目前太赫兹通信技术在国内外逐渐被重视,相关的研究也逐渐的深入,形成大致的系统框架。主要阐述太赫兹技术的原理及太赫兹波的基本理论,分析太赫兹通信技术的应用优势及发展成果,并对未来的推广应用做以展望。
