本文对金东瀚和安田靖彦、张春田以及本文作者先后提出的三种自适应DPCM帧内图象编码进行对比分析和讨论。用四组序列测试图象(抽样频率10MHz)进行计算(预测误差的熵值和均方误差)以及主观实验(统一采用Pirsch的15分层量化器)的结果表明:对于“男孩与玩具(序列)”和“RMA测试卡(序列)”,三种方案的主观质量相仿,而金东瀚和安田靖彦的方案之计算结果略好。对于“分辨率测试卡(序列)”和“分辨率测试卡(序列)镜象”,张春田方案的主观质量和计算结果都较好。但从方案的算法来看,本文作者的方案最为简单,张春田方案其次;而金东瀚和安田靖彦的方案则较为复杂。
This paper compares and discusses the three kinds of adaptive DPCM intra-frame image coding proposed by Kim Dong-Han, Yasuda Yasuhiko and Zhang Chuntian. The results of four sets of sequential test images (sampling frequency of 10 MHz) (entropy of the prediction error and mean square error) and subjective experiments (using Pirsch’s 15-layered quantizer) show that for “boys and toys (sequence ) ”And“ RMA test card (sequence) ”. The subjective qualities of the three schemes are similar, while the calculations of Kim Dong-Han and Yasuda Jingyan are slightly better. The subjective quality and calculation results of Zhang Chuntian scheme are good for the “resolution test card (sequence)” and “resolution test card (sequence) mirror”. However, from the algorithm of the scheme, the authors’ scheme is the simplest, followed by Zhang Chuntian scheme, while the schemes of Kim Dong-Han and Yasuda Jingyan are more complex.
