Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDXA) is a recently developed analytical technique that simultaneously analyzes all elements with atomic numbers above 8 using scanning transmission electron microscopy (S-TEM) or scanning electron microscopy (SEM) ongoing. Specimens are paraffin embedded silicosis tissue sections, with xylene to remove paraffin on the slice; immersed in gradually reduced concentrations of alcohol solution, and finally placed in distilled water soaked.
