为了解《纽约时报》40多年来报道针灸这一非本土疗法的立场及内容组织方式,用内容分析法和新闻框架分析法进行量化及质化研究,分析《纽约时报》针灸报道的主要消息来源、主题和新闻框架,发现《纽约时报》针灸报道的9类消息来源中,西医和患者就占据一半,五大新闻主题中,超过一半报道的是关于医学功能的探索,西医还重视针灸的“有效性讨论”。超过一半报道呈现“进步预设”框架,而且美国的西医和患者体现出“进步预设”观点的报道分别占64.2%、83.3%,说明多数西医和患者对针灸疗法持正面、支持的立场,但西医和患者实质关注点不同,其内容组织方式也不同。
To understand the New York Times’s 40-year history of acupuncture and moxibustion as a non-native remedy, the content and news frame analysis methods were used to quantify and qualitative study the main sources of Acupuncture reported by The New York Times , The theme and the news frame, it was found that among the nine types of news sources reported by The New York Times for acupuncture and moxibustion, western medicine and patients accounted for half of them.
