The development of long-term use of the lock-up valve, the structural principle of the valve, and the example of improving the production efficiency in practical use are introduced in the article, which can safely and reliably be carried out under the conditions of high temperature and pollution when titanium is made in a vacuum consumable electric arc furnace.
