The combination of multiple radio frequency nodes and mesh network structure can solve the limitation of data transmission rate and low network capacity of a single radio frequency radio access network. This paper elaborates on the basis and method of channel allocation for multi-radio multi-channel wireless mesh network (MRMC-WMN), classifies the existing channel allocation strategies and describes its work principle.
