一、“水日”和“水周”近年来,随着国民经济的发展和生活水平的提高,日本的需水量显著增大。但是,水资源开发日趋困难,甚至出现了枯水期供水不足的状况。鉴于这种现状,日本政府决定每年的8月1日为“水日”,8月1日至8月7日为“水周”。在这一周里,为了使国民对于水资源的有限性、水的贵重性和水资源开发的重要性等问题更为关心,加深理解,开展一系列活动。
I. “Water Day” and “Water Week” In recent years, with the development of the national economy and the improvement of living standards, water demand in Japan has significantly increased. However, the development of water resources has become increasingly difficult and even the situation of insufficient water supply in dry season has emerged. In view of this situation, the Japanese government decided on August 1 each year as “Water Day” and August 1 to August 7 as “Water Week.” In this week, people are more concerned about, understand and carry out a series of activities in order to make the people more conscientious about the limited water resources, the preciousness of water and the importance of water resources development.
