1978年6月下旬至7月上旬,在京广线某二级四场双溜单向机械化驼峰的既有编组站上铺设了10组66-11型油压重力式车辆减速器(以下简称减速器)。铺设工程按两期进行,每期5组,各分三次要点施工。减速器的基础系在七十年代初在站场扩建时予埋,路基填料采用底砂及石碴。减速器每组(3节)自重约22吨,实际长度11.995米,位于驼峰线路平面布置上的峰下及第一分支道岔岔后二级制动位式。(见图1)图中①、②、③为第一期工程的铺设顺序,④、⑤、⑥为第二期工程的铺设顺序。
